Thursday, April 22nd
A double feature will be shown in the Library auditorium featuring two comedies.

At 3:00 p.m., "Party Girl," a lightweight comedy about the romance between a party girl who gets a job in a New York public library and a falafel vendor will be shown.

At 5:00 "Desk Set," the classic comedy starring Katherine Hepburn as a reference librarian opposite the legendary Spencer Tracy.

And watch for some of the best quotations about books and libraries and reading, like this one from Groucho Marx:

Outside of a dog,
a book is a man's best friend.
Inside of a dog,
it's too dark to read.
